Murchison Falls Safari – 2 Nights/3 Days

The largest National Park in Uganda covering 3,480sq km and is situated between Masindi and Pakwach on the way to west Nile, the spectacular Murchison falls results from the Nile River being forced through a narrow crevice.. Lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, countless antelope and bird species. Crocodiles can be viewed during a boat Cruise to the bottom of the falls.

Day one: A pleasantly planned safari takes you from Kampala, on a northward journey leaving at 5am and on your way you will encounter variety of birds, monkeys, and baboons. At the arrival of the park at 11am, you will cross the ferry at 12 noon and check in at   Para Safari Lodge, have Lunch at 1pm  and  at 2.30pm  go for a  three hours Boat Cruise that allows you more bird watching of species like the shoebill and animals like crocodiles, hippos and elephants , you will also be able to visit Bottom of the falls.

Day two:

In the cool early morning before the sun rises too high starting 6.30 am you will start  your Game drive for 3-4 hours, you will see plenty of game on the Buligi, Albert and Queen’s tracks north of the River Nile. At Nyamusika Cliffs you can picnic, enjoy the view and watch elephants and other game on the grassy hillsides. At 10 am you will return at the lodge to have your breakfast, have a rest and enjoy swimming at the lodge’ pool, have a Lunch at 1pm and go for another game drive at 2.30pm.

Day three:

You will wake up and have breakfast at 8am, checkout of the lodge cross the ferry at 9am you will drive to the top of the Murchison falls and will leave at 11am and head back to Kampala while on the way you can stop and have Lunch at Masindi Hotel which is 2 hours away from the park
